The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Hi Frank,
It's under preferences, Remote Systems -> IBM i -> Program Verifiers -> ILE RPG -> Defines; you'll find a section called Include Directory. Add them using the New... button.
If you are using a recent version of RDi, type "Defines" in the "type filter text" search box on the Preferences. (Preference finder is very handy for finding preferences!)
Hope this helps!

Subject: [WDSCI-L] LPEX editor and stream files containing ILE RPG source
External: Pause and review the sender's email address, any URLs before clicking links, opening attachments, or following requests. When in doubt, contact the Service Desk.
Hi,
we are starting to store ILE RPG sources in stream files and I have the following problem when I open the LPEX editor for a stream file containing ILE RPG source.
I use the following copy compiler directive in the source.
/copy 'qrpglesrc/mycpysrc.rpgle'
The copy compiler directive points to a stream file which is defined with a relative path. The command CRTBNDRPG contains the parameter INCDIR. In this parameter I can specify all directories the command CRTBNDRPG is searching for the copybook at compile time, so I am able to compile the source.
When I open the LPEX editor the source will be parsed and the LPEX editor says that the copy book is not available. I understand this message, because I havn`t told RDi where to search for the copy book. The problem is, that I don`t find any place in RDi where I can specify the include directories the LPEX editor has to search for the copy books. Does anybody know how to solve the problem?
It would be great, if anybody could point me to the right direction.
Frank
