Yeah, Stephen, that was my first thought. Just lazy :)
I *think* it started when I downloaded and installed the latest
Installation Manager.
I temporarily put that theory aside, because I did the same
download/installation simultaneously on my Mac OS X box and that unit is
fine.
But it may be a quirk of the Linux version.
