Thanks Mike. I've got that version downloaded and when I try to run
userinst I have to allow it. I then get a security error two more times, if
I allow it it doesn't start again. Eventually I get UserInst executable
launcher was unable to locate its companion shared library.

Use IM 1.9.1.x, I have not seen any success with IM 1.9.2.x

Only do a User install of IM, an Admin install will not put down a working
install of RDI

RDI seems to run on the M1 for those that I have helped with it.

To install iSphere first add the update site
https://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/updates/4.6/ in Eclipse. Do the
iSphere install (Marketplace seems to work fine) then turn off the update
site so it does not conflict with any IM updates of the product.
