There is an RDi bug where more than one 'New IBM i Connection' tab can be displayed. When I've seen it, the extra tabs aren't actually functional. One way of dealing with this is to select the PDM perspective tab (if you have that open), right-click it and click Reset. That should close any extra connection tabs. After this, close the original connection tab if you don't want it. Hopefully, that will resolve the issue for you.

Ever since I upgraded to RDi Version: 9.6.0.11 20210819_0803 every time I open RDi I get a new "New IBM I Connection" tab or two. Is there a preference I need to change to suppress this?
