Hi David,

The "regular" admin install will not work, or at least not put down a
working configuration for RDI in Catalina and onwards.

xattr -c gets around some Gatekeeper issues. If you have unpacked the IM
zip already then you can try xattr -c -r (might be -R) on the installer

The latest IM for Mac should install OK as a user install after that. What
version are you trying to install? You may wish to make sure that any old
versions are uninstalled.

No. I’ve never had to do that in the past.

It unzipped fine.

Then you are only doing a user install (userinst) and not trying to run
an
admin install (install)?

I’ve tried regular install and user install, same error.
