Darren,

That is correct and works as designed. When the column width is set to 0, then the column width is restored to the default value with the next start of RDi.

The reason is, that I did not want to answer questions like "My column has been gone. How can I restore it?".

Now I have to answer the opposite questions. Life is hard. ;-)

I do not yet know what to do. The problem is that most views have a "reset column size" button, but the "Copy members to" dialog that does not have it and I do not have an idea how to add the button so that it looks nicely.

I do an iSphere search, and I see "Libray-File-Member" columns, so, I shrink the "Library" and "File" columns until they don't show up anymore. I close RDi and reopen. Do another iSphere search and the "Library" and "File" columns are back as the first columns.

iSphere remebers the column width as well as the column sequence number. So you can resize and reorder the columns to match your needs.

Does that help?

Betreff: [WDSCI-L] iSphere remember column width in search

When I use iSphere to do a search, the search window shows library and file first, which take up half the window in the way I layout my views. It either was different in previous version, or remembered when I shrunk these column out of view. Is there a way to change the columns shown, or to have it remember when I resize them somehow?
