Hi everyone
It is now 11:40 p.m.
So I tried to upload the latest iSphere – to no avail
Same problem

Unable to read repository at http://isphere.sourceforge.net/eclipse/rdi8.0/site.xml.
Unable to read repository at http://isphere.sourceforge.net/eclipse/rdi8.0/site.xml.
com.ibm.jsse2.util.h: PKIX path building failed: com.ibm.security.cert.IBMCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

What has been mentioned in this e-mail and a couple of prior ones, is that
run all updates as Administrator

How do you do that?
Maybe that’s the missing piece to my problem

I've learned to run all updates as Administrator and that's cured past
problems. Both recent updates installed without issue.

OT: I have to say I really appreciate software vendors who make installing
updates and renewing maintenance stress-free. I recognize the process must
be more thorough as the cost of the software increases but even my pricey
Madcap Flare maintenance renewals and updates are a snap, as are
TechSmith's SnagIt and Thomas's iSphere. The rest of you---well, you know
who you are.

Vern,

I do not think that I could do anything to clear the PKIX path errors.
Preparing a new release on SourceForge is uploading the files and nothing
else. There is nothing that I could configure regarding the update
errors.

I wished, I had a dedicated update server for my Eclipse plug-ins such
as iRPGUnit, iSphere and Rapid-Fire, etc. But that means paying dollars
(actually Euros) for nothing (for me). I just have a 100-mbit connection
(40-mbit upload) to the Internet, which I do not want to use for that.

Regards,

Thomas.

Just did the 4.03 install, worked fine, not sure what's different but
not complaining.

Good luck - hope Thomas or someone has solutions for y'all!

I get that same issue. Also when I try to download the update, all I
get is a content.jar file when expanded contains an xml file with the
same name. I am expecting a zip file. I have tried Firefox & Chrome
and get the same results. I have found the only way to get over the
certification path error is to re-install RDi. Then it works fine at
least for all the initial installs, but at some point seems to go back
to the certification path error. I am on a MAC,
