You can't just drill into libraries, files, members - you have to specify the library and file.

Similarly with IFS.

No filters.

Admittedly if was already familiar with VS Code it might feel easier but right now it is unintuitive compared with most of the other editors I have used.

Still a million miles better than SEU!

Actually in my opinion the Code For IBMi VS Code Extension is pretty comprehensive already when compared to the remote system explorer in RDI.

If you really want VS Code functionality for IBMi development visit Liam's project, use it, provide constructive input and feature suggestions.

I've already started using it for classic source member and IFS editing instead of SEU and RDI. Of course I use VS Code already.

There is a little VS Code learning curve if you've not used it before.

That plug-in is a good start, but I don't think it is comprehensive enough
to call an IBM plug-in (if it happens) would be redundant.

If the RFE is regarding a VS Code plug-in check the following link. It
would appear to be redundant at this point.

https://github.com/halcyon-tech/code-for-ibmi

Check it out. Very cool FREE open-source plugin to VS Code. And installs
in seconds on any platform.

SEU is on its way to the retirement home for my development needs.

It even works in Github Online Codespaces, making it the lightweight champ.
