I'm pretty sure I removed that column when I installed his RDi. I'll check.

Hi Justin,

One thought is they are placing the cursor in the Option column. This
allows users to type in User Action, so it allows users to type characters.

Make sure the user has the cursor position in another column.

More experienced users removed that column using the preferences. By
default it is there for new users. The quick way to find the preferences is
the down facing triangle on the Object Table toolbar.

Once open, you can remove the option column from the "Selected Columns"
side and press Apply. Make sure to change for the Object and Library, as
well as the Member type; and after customizing, make sure to apply, then
select the menu again and select the menu option "Select Columns" -> then
select Customized.

If this doesn't help, please contact IBM support so we can take a deeper
look.
