Undo checkpoints are set on discrete actions by the user.
So if you copy pasted a block of code and then undid, the block of code
would disappear.

I'm not sure how it decides what to undo...

But if you bank out an entire section at once, and then hit Undo, I've
seen
it Undo the whole section.

I suspect it's looking at pauses to determine individual "edits".

I usually have enough think time during coding where its never really
been
an irritant.
