Dave,

The old WDSC was release last Century for "FREE" on CD-ROM. But, it is no longer supported. Although it might work, it will not give you the full capabilities of the mature RDI 9.6.0.8.

RDI does have a free trial.

I know it is a minimum of 90 days. It might be longer.

The last WDSC 7 was pretty good, and it was 100% free. But, does not support IBM i 6.0 and above. Nor does it support **free format.

RDI has GREATLY improved over the last 20-years!

You could try this "FREE" light weight editor:

It misses a lot, including the outline view, and many more.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RDI with V7R1?

Hello,
I am currently at a shop where all developpements are made with ADT. Noone seems to know anything about RDI except the director who thinks that there should be a free version available somewhere on the installation disks.
Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks!
