With my source open for edit, i held down the control key, then single
clicked a local procedure name. . . tried subroutine name too. . .

Which thing doesn't work? The hyperlink? I thought that had been
around for a long time, but it's been a while since I was on 9.6.0.0.
Any reason you haven't upgraded? Because the RDi folks do tons of
enhancements each release.

I use hyperlinks. One of my favorite features. Hold down the control
key and click on the name of something being used (e.g., in an EXSR or
privileged.procedure call) and RDi jumps you to the definition. Even cooler,
Alt-Left brings you back to where you were. And this works for
variables, too.
This is next-level stuff for me. :)
