Ken,

Sounds like the same versions and steps I'm taking. Are the objects your
testing service programs or standard RPG programs?

Sam,

We use RPG-Unit & Code-Coverage, and have for a long time. It worked fine
for me...

I am using RDi 9.6.0.7 & iRpgUnit 3.0.1.r

I toggle to Cover-Coverage in my S.E.P. view, and works like a charm.

Now, I make sure the RPG-Unit works first.

By default on our development box, we always compile with all debug
information.

I usually always do a refresh on my S.E.P., because I get some many
interruptions through the day. By habit, I always refresh my S.E.P. before
doing debug or code coverage.

PS. Maybe restart RDI, and recompile all and try again?

Normally, I don't have to restart, but a restart of RDI only take my PC
about 10-seconds.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] iRPGUnit and Code Coverage

We're having a problem using RDI 9.6 / RPGUnit 3.x and the iRPGUnit plugin
to obtain code coverage results.

Basically, I create SEPs on all of my service programs

(test suite as well as the business logic itself), I have it set to be in
code coverage mode. On the iRPGUnit tab I'm in debug mode).

When I right click on my test suite service program and ask it to run it
using RPGUnit it runs, but no code coverage data is captured. If instead
of code coverage mode I pick debug mode it's also not breaking.

Everything (and that includes the RPGUnit pieces) has been recompiled to
include debug information.

Anyone have any ideas?

Sam
