Art,
Let me tell you how I do it...
1.) > windows >Preferences >Remote Systems >Command Execution --->
Uncheck "compile in Batch"
2.) Use the compile Menu to compile your program.
3.) Open the view: "Commands Log"
That view will show you compile and the results! Especially handy when I
am creating my service programs.
Try that out.
PS. Your "Error List" is supposed to pop-up automatically.

Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] RDi doesn't submit compiles
IBM i is V7R4 on latest PTF's. 5770WDS option 60 \is installed.Other
Systems in same Rdi workspace work fine.
I tested again using CRTBNDRPG and it does submit but gives a message that
program was not created. Using 14 from PDM works. Do I have a place to
specify replace object? When I right click the system name I do not have a
compile option.
Isphere doesn't work. Do I need to add iSphere to my library list?
Thank you.
