The reason for this query is that I have been thinking a lot about process
automation, and output to an *OUTFILE of some sort would be much better
than having to parse a spool file for that. In fact something that can be
processed by the same programs that process JUnit output would be optimal.

Mark,

iRPGUnit produces a spooled file report, if parameter OUTPUT is set to
*ALLWAYS or *ERROR. No report is created, when OUTPUT is set to *NONE.
There is also no report, when OUTPUT is set to *ERROR and the unit test
ends without errors.

So usually the best option is OUTPUT(*ALLWAYS).

Regards,

Thomas.

Betreff: [WDSCI-L] Where does iRPGUnit put its reports?

I see that I can run test scripts from a command line (and therefor from a
CLP), but where does the report go if RDi is not there to receive it? Does
it produce a report like JUnit?
