Yeah, I turn it off my default, because it has messed up my typing by mistake.
To disable it by default, do this:
Window > Preferences > LPEX Editor > Controls > then Uncheck “Command Line”.When I want the command line, I hit “ESC”. When I want it disappear, I also hit “ESC”….
a.k.a. Toggle.
I use the command line myself for two basic reasons most of the time:
1. Toggle: set prefixArea off / on (Hide the source sequence number, I do NOT care for them)
2. Toggle: Hairline [cursor] on/off (advance function, but sometimes like it…)
There is a lot of learn on RDI, nothing you can learn Overnight…
