The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
We only do RPG -> RPGLE. For RPG36, we just manually change the type to RPG. With few exceptions, it compiles as-is (or with some minor File spec changes). Of course with RPG36 YMMV.

Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] using RDi to convert from RPG
Hi Jim
I think I'll be saying stuff you already know, but maybe for the archives or for just sayin'!
I suppose it depends, right? The basic conversion to ILE RPG is the CVTRPGSRC command to convert RPG III or RPG/400 to RPG IV.
RPG36 are not supported for conversion.
Craig Rutledge's tools are quite good - not sure if you've used them.
And left-hand indicators are not going to convert into free-form, anyhow, right?
I strongly recommend Craig's tools - source code included, so you can make them work as you want.
www.jcrcmds.com is the site, I think.
Cheers
Vern
