Have you perhaps already looked at the Preferences - General - Appearance section? There is a "Enable Animations" checkbox you might clear, if its checked. You might play around with the other settings in there, to see if it makes a difference.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Rollback 9.6.0.6?

Is there a way to roll back the 9.6.0.6 update? I tried IM, but it says there's nothing to roll back.

I have this weird visual anomaly that appeared after the update. I can't come up with a really good description. Flicker or shimmer are the best words I can come up with. I can't see how it's related, but since it appeared with the update that's where I want to start looking.

TIA
