Yeah, I call that the "Two-stroke", that happens to me in DEBUG everytime. The run to location does not show the first time, but the second time it does. It happens on other things too. The newbies keep asking me why. I said I don't know, ask IBM, they wrote it.
Currently, I cannot change varchar in RDI debug. So, back to green screen debug, because it just works EVERYTIME. Yes, I have open PMR on the issue, and recorded a video showing it happening too. I also generated special debug file for analysis. So, I did my duty and report the on-going bugs.
This does not happen on Microsoft Visual Studio. But, they have more experience on I.D.E. software.

I have a similar issue at times: when I start up RDi, I want to connect to both systems (dev and prd). I right-click the connection but at first the "Connect" option is not there. Right-clicking again makes it magically appear.
Same when debugging: sometimes the "Run to location" option is missing from the right-click menu. Clicking elsewhere and then again on the line I want to run to, brings it back.
Very weird indeed.

Yup! Click different views to force a repaint...
It happens to me a LOT!!! I have reported, but have been told it is only a "Re-Paint" issues... Oh well...
it does not give great confidence in this software... :( Just saying... Love it, but it has bugs...
