The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

Justin,
I assume that it is not enough to only show the error message. Most likely you also want to see what happened before the error. So maybe a new preference option should have the following values:
Name of preference option: "Capture job log"
Possible values:
1) "Off"
No messages are catured.
2) "Errors on error"
Only error messages are captured if there was a runtime error
3) "All on error "
All messages are captured if there was a runtime error
4) "Allways"
What do you think?

Assuming it shows the messages for the error, that should be fine. I imagine there will be a preference setting to turn that off and on.
