I'm not network specialist for sure, and I'm not responsible or knowledgeable in anyway on by businesses network practices, so, please excuse my leyman terms in the following statement. I also had failure trouble with the IBM Installation Manager update for Rdi when we started using a "naughty filter". I believe that our network admin made some allowances that anything IBM would bypass some of that. With that done, it does still take a lot longer than I believe it should, but it eventually does work. I wonder if your organization might white list IBM somehow.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RDi Web Update Issues

All,

I have been having issues with the update of RDi every since my company introduced a new protocol whereby all inbound and outbound links get changed to funnel through a 3rd party site (https://urldefense.proofpoint.com...). The update fails for RDi when it tries to go through that 3rd party site with an "HTTP Method Not Allowed". I've looked for the update information sites to correct/update them, however I am not finding it. I'm hoping someone knows where I can locate and update this information.

TIA
