Well I did manage to get this corrected. Paul was correct in the deselect
option, and then I had to create a new filter pool, move my custom filters
into it, delete the old filter, and then rename the filter I created back
to the old name. When I did this and restarted RDi my personal filter was
normal. And, I don't have any extra filter pools.

The data for filter pools is located
in C:\Users\Jason.Olson\IBM\rationalsdp\RDI\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.rse.core\profiles

and then under your profile folder you'll see the individual filter pools.
Each folder has a node.properties file in it. Also in the main profile
folder there is a node.properties that says what filter pools are
available. I'm sure these can be edited by hand if need be but I sure would
make backup copies.

I don't know why it happens, but it seems to be that the default filter
pool (whether you renamed it or not) will not allow itself to be deleted. I
don't know how to make it permanently deleted, but you can deselect the
filter pool in the connection's subsystem's context menu and it shouldn't
be visible anymore.

So I have a set of filter pools setup like a lot of us do, but I've ran
into some weird behavior with them.

1. I have a filter pool that no matter what I cannot keep deleted. If I
close down RDi and restart, it will be there. I have deleted it now
several
times and it keeps coming back.

2. My personal library filter pool has a set of the WW object in it. Like
Work with libraries.... I have also deleted these, but each time I open
back up RDi they keep coming back.

Does anyone have any idea why these deletes are not sticking? Is there a
preference you need to set somewhere?
