If I understand you correctly Kerwin, yes it can. Very easy to do.

Look closely at the Screen Designer view and you will see 5 x icons just above the design section, (to the left of the 24x80 / 27x132 radio buttons)

Move the mouse across these icons and you'll see they provide:

- Draw records transparent
- Show rectangular help
- SHOW IN BLACK AND WHITE
- Show grid lines
- Configure preferences

Click on the third icon to switch between green-on-black and black-on-white. (I prefer to design in the latter mode - much clearer.)

FILE > PRINT (CTL+P) works a treat in black-on-white mode. No need for screen capture tools.

I need/want to print a DSPF that is not a black background white/gray
letters.  I want white background and black letters.

I have been on the Design Tab and have a record highlighted/displayed.
Then Click on File>Print to print it.  I have tried changing the
preferences on the General Tab on the Print window also.
Can this be done?
