Did that, IM was too stupid to allow me to point to the new repository,
so I
just used the install.exe that came with the distribution. All is good
now
and installing iSphere (new installation) as we type.

Are you saying IM would allow you to go to File, Preferences and add the
repository? I've never had a problem doing that--at times I've had to
unzip one, but it's always allowed me to use a newly downloaded
install/update repo.
