Hi Justin

Mr Obvious here - are the service programs debuggable? You are describing behavior when the thing being called is not.

I'm playing around with using /INCLUDE in RPGLE to bring in non-exported procedures so I can set up RPGUnit tests. My tests use /INCLUDE to bring in the procedures from the *SRVPGM source. That all works fine, except I can't seem to debug into them. I'm using RDi SEP's to debug the tests, but when I try to step into the procedure, the debugger just goes to the /INCLUDE.

I've tried the Debugger Editor in RDi, but that made no difference. I have a vague recollection of a compiler setting, but the only one I can find is DBGVIEW. The only options for DBGVIEW (CRTSQLRPGI) are *SOURCE and *NONE. I know I don't want to change it to *NONE.

Anyone have any suggestions?

TIA
