A couple of things

1) Ken, given the size of your programs, I would recommend a larger memory
size in your eclipse.ini
-Xmx2048m

will give you more space to work

2) IBM Data Studio does have content assist. Ctrl-Space will give SQL
keywords and table and field names.

3) Everyone should be aware that we have found a bug yesterday that does
leak memory. There is a simple work around. Turn off the preference
Remote Systems>Remote Systems LPEX Editor>IBM i Parsers>ILE RPG>Categorize
named indicators as Fields in the outline view.

Jon,

Yes I do! When I first told my Microsoft Boss, and 3 M$ developers, they
I could hit <ENTER> to split lines. They LAUGHED...

>windows>preferences>Remote Systems>Remote System Lpex Editor>Ile
RPG>Key behavior
Check-box "CHECKED" for Enter Key splits line for Free form source

So... Sometimes it works, and sometimes it does not work...

For example, it does not work exec sql statements. <frown>

So, not consistent, sadly...

RDI is still better than SEU! <Big Smile>

Mine is set up to line split lines with the Enter key Ken. Have you not
got that version?

Installing or updating anything from IBM is a painful and frustrating

other piece of software I can think of.

It is easier to do that, than be a beta-tester for the vendor.
