Hi,

I don't like the default search engine, a.k.a. the find-string-PDM.

So, I use the FABLOUS free iSphere search! Must better, and unofficial about 3-times faster.

To install it, search for "iSphere" in the eclipse Market place. Now, you do need authority to create the back-end Library. Hopefully, you have authority, or can get help from your system administrator. We have it installed on all 3 of our IBM i 7.3 boxes.

Use that, and do not go back! <Hint Hint>

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Remote Search results

In the Remote Search results, each result row contains the string I searched followed by the source line snippet where the string occurs. I do not remember the search string being present in each entry before today (then, I barely remember ANYthing before today). I am running 9.6.0.3 right now (I removed my 9.5 installation). Do any of you remember it always being there? Kind of repetitive and a waste of space.
