I don't see a way to do this.
I thought, perhaps, selecting the field in the outline view would give you the option to delete it. But no such function is available. Use the Source tab.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RDi DDS Design Perspective

Hi All,

In RDi DDS Design Perspective you can select a record format and then click on a field and hit delete to get rid of that field.

This won't work for hidden fields on a subfile as there is no visual component to select in the record format.

Is there an obvious way I'm just not seeing that you would use to get rid of hidden fields from the Design Tab? Or is that really only for visual components?

Obviously I know I can go to the Source Tab and just delete it out of there...

thanks and regards,
Craig
