Ken,
I wouldn't abandon Quick Filters too quickly (Ok that is a bad pun :-)
I find them very useful to quickly navigate to what I want, when I don't
want to create a filter. And then when I have the subset I want, I love
the fact that I can save it to the RSE tree. I still find the RSE Tree
easier after that point to drive actions and the editor because in the
tree I can be working with multiple subsets at once, but in the table view
it is only one set at a time.

BTW, Charlie Guarino just put out a video on the feature. Enjoy it and use
it to convert all the PDM-lovers.

Cool! It works for me!

Since I have been using RDI for over 12-years, I don't like that show quick
table filters. But, I think it is great for the newbies!

The newbies always ask me where is the F21=Select Assistance Level for
1=Basic. <LOL>

Most of the punch-card fossil, do not understand that windows has multiple
windows/views. Hence Window(S), a.k.a. plural. They are still use to the
Twinax dumb terminal. Where there was only one-view. <smirk>

In the upper right (next to the Restore/Minimize button) is a down arrow.
Click that to expand the menu, and then click Preferences. That should
give you a list of columns, and just remove the Option column from the
"Selected columns" list. Apply & OK, then you should be good.

I've always used the object table myself using the IBM i Editing
perspective first put together by SoftLanding Systems.

So, now how do I get rid of the option column? I can't get it to go away!

Thanks
