iSphere is not involved when it comes to "mark occurences" or forward and backward navigation.

In Java you can use Ctrl+, (comma) for backward navigation and Ctrl+. (dot) for forward navigation ammong the marked occurrences. The color and the backward and forward enablement is configured on page "Preferences - Annotations - Occurences ()".

The style of RPG occurences is configured on the same page but with key "Occurences (org.eclipse.imp.runtime.occurrenceAnnotation)". It also has a "Include in next/previous navigation, but sadly that does not work. Bug or feature that is the question.

Thomas.

I thought I had this before I installed iSphere, but maybe it's a part of iSphere.

For me, the variables in the source are bright green, and those lines are marked with yellow arrows in the left margin. This is for variables that are visible. The right margin has bright green markers showing the location in the source where the variable appears. This is in the same part of the margin as the "unused variable" markers.

Hi Justin

First I've seen this - interesting, maybe!

I see the variable highlighted, the marks are in my left margin - are you in Australia? Just kidding!

Or at least there is an arrow pointing to the line where the highlighted item is - same color as the highlighting - I don't even see something on the right to show me where in the entire member they are - unlike "unused variable" markers.

Cheers
Vern

The "Toggle marking of occurrences of the given entity" toolbar button highlights the variable and marks instances in the right margin. Is there any keyboard shortcut to step from instance to instance?
