Re: RDI 9.6.0.1 How to toggle to *LISTING View

Okay, with special instructions from IBM, I am *NOW* be able to get a dump, when RDI 9.6.0.1 craps out for next time...
I should have update my startup of RDI immediately when I got the email instructions. But sadly I just did the update today.

I had just close the PMR last week, thinking it was a fluke.

I have re-opened my PMR:
IBM Service Request: Service request 93577 442 000 has been updated - RDI 9.6.0.1 start with -clean & unable to debug.

Back to reliable Green-Screen DEBUG, never a problem!!! Ever!

PS. 99% of the time RDI debug is WONDERFUL, but when it craps out. It is a major time waster.

OH well, I am now able to create a Java dump for "next time"...

Time to eat Several Snicker bars! I really need a PC "Dash-Camera"! Maybe next Christmas! <LOL>

Now I get that fun error: CPF7102 Unable to add breakpoint or trace.

I was told by IBM to remove by QB5* jobs...

I was also told to add some debug statements to my start of RD start up...

Arrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh, I put it off, and have to do it now...

After this, the heck with RDI Debug, it causes me NOTHING but problems.

Green Screen Debug is 100% rock solid, NEVER A FRICKING FAILURE!!!!!!! EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS. I keep forgetting what a "Wonderful Productivity Boost" RDI, playing TESTER!

When it works, it is the GREATEST THING in the WORLD! But, when it blow up, it BLOWS!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

Using RDI 9.6.0.1 and cannot seem to toggle to *LISTING view, even though the program was compile with that option...

I can do it GREEN Screen, but not in RDI 9.6.0.1. I thought it was RIGHT-CLICK > SHOW VIEW > *LISTING...

So, in summary, here is my stack:

PGMB
PGMA

So, PGMA calls PGMB. And that is where my break-point is stopped. And that is the Service Entry point that I set...

I can RIGHT-CLICK PGMA and get *LISTING View, but not *LISTING view for PGMB...

Yikes, yet another "RESTART-to-Get-It-to-Work..."... Again...

Error log shows a whole bunch of these errors:
CRRDG3061W Engine is busy. Request Line breakpoint (1) rejected

Welcome to RDI 9.6.0.1. Restart CONTINUALLY... Oh well, I should be used to this by now...
