A month or so ago I removed my desktop from the Windows domain and
it's now in a workgroup. Since that time, RDi will not save my
password for the IBM i. I check the box to save it, but every day
when I open RDi I have to enter that password again.
Where is the password stored? Could it be my user profile is not
authorized to the folder where it is stored?
Did your home directory change when you left the domain?
Saved passwords are stored in Eclipse secure storage ... which usually
lives at C:\Users\userid\.eclipse\org.eclipse.equinox.security
You may need to reset & erase the secure storage and let it get
recreated. Preferences -> General -> Security -> Secure Storage. Click on
the Contents tab. There is a delete button that will erase all saved
passwords.
