Matt,

Good job. You found a very silly bug. You should complain to the developer.

I fixed that issue with beta 3, which is available, now.

Yes, I downloaded your latest beta, turned on Kerberos, restarted RDI, expanded iSphere Spooled Files filter, send you the log entry for iSphere.

FYI, after turning off Kerberos, I am still getting log entries for Spooled Files. There is one for each SPLF I have on my queue. *** Could not replace spooled file variable ***. I am going to assume with the beta and its elevated logging is why I am seeing this error.

You tried to use Kerberos authentication, right? At least that is what I expected to see for Kerberos authentication. It proves, that the following statement did not return a JDBC connection:

jdbcConnection =
IBMiConnection.getConnection(host).getJDBCConnection(null, false)

Still scratching my head how to solve that.

I uploaded a new iSphere beta, which replaces the "%1" with the Java exception messages that led to the error. The error should also be logged in the Eclipse error log. Maybe that helps to find the actual problem.

It took a little tracking down, but I was having issues with iSphere's spool file filter returning a %1. Determined later to be because the iSeries connection was using Kerberos. Is there a plan to support that later?
