This may not help you, but I run quite often into the same problem ...
without knowing what happened.
May be it is because we both do not use the English version or the English
keyboard ?!

I have installed Rdi 9.6 and some time if i press ENTER key i receive the
error enterRPG is not a valid editor action ..
If I close Rdi e restart it , for a small time the problem is solved.. but
then it restart again Which could be the problem ?
