Bob, by Split Screen I assumed you meant CRTL+2 for a split view of the _same_ member. I see no white space between toolbar and editor window under 9.5 or 9.6.

However, opening two _different_ members side-by-side, (instead of tabbed) does result in white space between toolbar and editor window for both 9.5 and 9.6. I'd never noticed this before!
