Hi Michael, sounds familiar.

Symptoms:

- Open a member for edit
- Modify some lines
- Save
- Click in the editor pane to regain focus and suddenly you can see the
editor marking many (but not all) lines as modified.

To avoid the loss of modification dates we have to close the member without
saving and reopen.

We have found that the apparent cause is a specific PC using RDI with a
screwed cache. Clearing the cache seems to fix the problem.

A problem marker can be found going in Preference > Lpex Editor, click on
the opened member and you'll see the "Trim trailing spaces" not checked and
Maximum line length = 0.

HTH

Hi -

I have a couple of developers that have reported that all source line
dates for a program changed except for the comments. This happened for both
RPGLE and CBLLE source types. The only common thread is that those
developers are using RDi 9.5.1 with fix pack 2.

I don't see any way that this could be done without explicit reformatting
of the code. And the developers say that they did not do a reformat.

Am I overlooking a system setting or other explanation?

Thanks -

Mike W.
