Justin,
I remove all the porotypes, except for external calls. Not need! <Joy Joy>
Why define it two places? Except if you are using a copy-book for Service program.
But, for you own internal procedures, not needed, so I ALWAYS remove them doing maintenance. I hate change the prototype and the internal definition too. Two places to maintain it. Not need, so I remove them.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] "The prototype is not used" - RDi 9.6
I just loaded RDi 9.6. In my RPG code, it's marking all of my exported Dcl-pr statements.
In the left grey margin, there's a lower case i. When I mouse over it, a popup says "The prototype {name} is not used".
The prototype name itself has a blue squiggle under it. When I mouse over it, I get a much large "The prototype {name} is not used" popup.
The scroll bar on the right has a blue marker, and it also gives the same popup text.
Any way to modify this undesirable, but well-intentioned, behavior?
