Yes - but how do I actually specify it? I' thought I'd tried that
but to no effect.
If you have access to the URL itself, then you specify
naming=system to get it to use the library list. Otherwise, if a GUI
window, you'd have to tell me how to get to the RDi Data Explorer so I
can see what you see.
Sincerely,
Dave Clark

Phooey - not enough caffeine yet this morning. Previously sent with wrong subject line.

I guess I wasn't clear enough Matt.
I have that setting in ACS.
But as the subject says - I'm trying to find how to do it for RDi's Data Explorer.

I believe its adding "with NC" to the end of modification statements should get you what you want.
But if you want it set permanently then on the JDBC config page, tab "System" in the middle is the "Isolation level:" drop down .
I see this on ACS 1.1.7.2

In ACS Run SQL scripts I can specify an isolation level of *NC and *NONE - which is what I want for the occasional editing/updating of non-journaled tables that I do. I also specify *LIBL or a list of libraries, naming conventions, etc.
I can find properties for the JT400 driver that appear to match (except the *NC/*NONE bit) and have entered them in the connection properties, but they seem to be ignored although I see no error messages.
Can anyone tell me how I'm supposed to do this - it is driving me nuts. I thought I had it working previously but this is a new install and I can't get it working.
P.S. I also have my default scheme specified in the connection - but it is still trying to find tables in a library matching my user name.
