I apologize for being a cynic.

I'll take RDi with bugs any day over SEU (Stone-tablet Editor,
Unproductive edition). SEU was great in it's day, but it's time to
put it to rest.

Yes, I would hope that syntax checking is not the only benefit or purpose
you find for RDi and LPEX.
