The only thing that I can imagine is that there is some combination of your
source that hit some parser issue whilst you were editing. Yes, being able
to reproduce the issue is kinda key to being able to fix it.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RDI 9.5.1.2 Uncaught exception in class
"com.ibm.etools.iseries.parsers.IseriesEditorRPGILESQLparser".
Document parser was disabled
Sent by: "WDSCI-L" <wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi,

Wow, having extremely bad result with RDI 9.5.1.2 today....

Just trying to compile my code, and RDI 9.5.1.2 locks up completely!!! The
only option available was the main close "X" button. Could not select
windows/views in RDI 9.5.1.2. WTF?!?!?!

I got this Error Message in my Locked up LPEX Editor window:
Uncaught exception in class
"com.ibm.etools.iseries.parsers.IseriesEditorRPGILESQLparser". Document
parser was disabled

Killed RDI 9.5.1.2 and restarted with the "-clean" option. Below is the
error in the Error Log:

Error

ILE RPG ParseController: parse failed
Restarted with a "-clean" option again to recover...

Why is RDI 9.5.1.2 locking up again? Yup, I cannot duplicate the error,
because I do not know what caused it, only that I was doing a recompile
like I always do when adding new code and catching syntax errors.

When restarted, I had no yellow tag on the right of the LPEX window, which
normally show "Parsing errors"... <strange>

Reboot RDI software with "-clean" to get it to work. Gee, it had been
working so good previously...
