Roger, the "Draw Records Transparent" is available for Screen Designer
only - not Print Designer. (Makes sense because PRTF formats can overlap,
DSPF formats cannot).

To show both header and detail at the same time, (and manipulate either as
desired) just include both in the same Report group. Click on the DESIGN
REPORTS button (instead of DESIGN RECORDS) at the top/left of the Report
controls and include both record formats in the same (new) Report group.

Hope this helps,
Brian.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Using DDS Designer - Cannot overlay records

I'm trying to modify a PRTF and need to show both the header and detail so I
can align column headings.

The "Draw records transparent" icon is nowhere to be found and I haven't
found any preference that may be hiding it.

How can I get it back?

Thanks.
