No, just sometimes the two get disconnected. It is possible that there is some authority issue as the systems here are locked down tighter than anything I have ever seen. I had to get them to give me authority to two commands for SEPs to even work, but I can't end the debug server from within RDi. I haven't really tried working through why the debug server becomes disconnected, I just know that it does.

Are you doing Debug through any 3rd party plugin? I've had issue with MKS
where the first debug works, but any after that fail, yet it works fine if
I initiate from the regular RSE source filter.

I think everyone gets their own debug server. Here, they shut down the
subsystems every night to do backups, so every morning I have to restart
it. It shows up in WRKUSRJOB as QB5ROUTER and QB5PHSRV. I have had issues
where something crashed in debug, and the debug server becomes disconnected
with RDi, and the only way to get it back is to end RDI, and these two
jobs.

No.

Is there anyway to tell if anybody else is currently using it?

I'll try that in the morning if it doesn't come up.

het volgende geschreven:

I was successfully debugging a program via SEP earlier in the day.

However, now when I run the program, it halts (I think) but never comes
up
in RDi debug.

I'm pretty sure it's halted, since the call stack has as a last entry
QTESEPEH QSYS /01E3

and it doesn't change nor does any file I/O take place.

I'm removed and re-added the SEP.
Restarted RDi...
Signed off and back onto the 5250 session.

Any thoughts as to what is going wrong or where to look for that
answer?

Running RDi 9.5.1, program is on a 7.2 box.

Thanks!
Charles
