The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
The "Configure Floating license support" radio button is unchecked and disabled. That makes sense if floating licenses are more expensive. All our RDi users use it every day, so there'd be nothing to gain.
Thanks

This is just a hopefully helpful guess. (We've never considered the floating license. In general it's significantly more expensive, but there are cases where it might make sense.)
I believe you can:
- Launch Installation Manager;
- Click on the 'Manage Licenses' icon;
- Then select 'RPG and COBOL tools'.
On the bottom, there's an radio button to 'Configure Floating License Support'. If that's not selected, my guess is you've got a named user license.
Again, this is just my guess. I hope it helps. (Maybe an IBMer with a more precise knowledge will chime in.)
