Thanks Vern,

Now there's another option - right-click in the source and click on
"Filter view" - here you can select Subroutines, which shows you only
the BEGSR & ENDSR lines. You can also select "Control" - it shows you
all the conditional stuff, and it includes, in the order as it appears
in the source, the EXSRs and the BEGSRs and ENDSRs. It doesn't show
anything about procedures, but you didn't ask about those, right? :)

Yes, i use filter a ton... but never noticed the Control option, which i
like!

I suggest the outline - it has a section of the subroutines listed - you

can select whether to see them in order as they appear in the source or
alphabetically. You click on the name and go to where it is defined. If
there is a plus sign next to the name, click on it and you'll see
everywhere it is used, including, I think, where defined. Click on one
of those line numbers and you are positioned there.

I've used outline, on 9.1.1.1 (and earlier), and never noticed the sort
toggle,
so i fired up v9.5 and found it there.

Guess i should start using v9.5. <g>
