Yea Cubbies! So Sorry Cleveland, kudos for being there.
I feel your pain on the legacy GOTOs. I'm in the same boat. I can no longer say I haven't used an RPG GOTO or TAG. I can only say that I've not coded them myself.
If the program has to be tested anyway, and you have some permission from management to make improvements... I'd say go for it, but I don't sign your paycheck. Sometimes removal is simple, sometimes not. But I love to destroy them.
Die, obsolete code, Die!

Hey, the Cubs won a pennant...that's a good start to things being better this quarter century. :)
We still have to deal with TAG and GOTO statements due to legacy software. New RPGLE code forbids the use of these relics, and I find it more efficient to use things like ITER, LEAVE, LEAVESR in constructing logic anyway. Yet I still have to add them to the legacy code from time to time, always wondering if it's time to rewrite the whole thing...
This one has my vote though because of the whole legacy thing.

Wouldn't it be nice if the TAGs showed in the outline view?
If so, vote for my RFE
