Re: WDSCI-L RDi 9.5.1 is now available!

Pointing to the 9.5.1 update and the 9.5 image will work but there are
other potentially easier ways.

If you want to install on Mac, you can install IBM Installation Manager and
point to the IBM servers. See
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21667734 which describes
how to do a web install.

Alternatively, you download the 9.5.1 full image from Passport/ESS.

So I got the Mac OS X install to work on my MBPr 10.11.06
I downloaded and installed Installation Manager 1.8.5
I downloaded the zipped 9.5.1 patch and pointed to the disk tag.inf in the
preferences, wouldn’t work.
repository config file wouldn’t work.
I also pointed to the 9.5 disk 1 disk tag.inf and then it could install
9.5.1, just got prompted for disk 2 during the install.

Note: clicking Update in IBM Installation Manager might not show you

9.5.1

at the moment since there is an issue with the IBM servers. It is being
worked on. I will post when I get more information. The Fix List

is available now and the zip download option is available now.
