The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
When you first start RDi you have no active connection to a server. So
nowhere to run any commands - thus no command entry area. You have a couple
of choices:
- Activate a connection, (sign on), or
- Set the Remote Systems preference to "Re-open Remote Systems view to
previous state" and allow RDi to remember your Id and Password
Sounds like you had RDi 9.1 set up for the latter, but RDi 9.5 is set up for
the former. (Personally, I prefer the former: start afresh and sign on each
time I open a connection.)
Hope this helps.
Brian.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Command Prompt in v9.5
For some reason my command prompt does not appear on the "Commands Log" tab
when I first startup the application. This shows up only after I compile
something, or take another action where RDI runs a command.
What am I missing. This behavior was not exhibited in v9.1
