Okay, but I also need a link for a "one-Click-Install" for the web-install that is "SIMPLE"...

That link seems to be for FIXES, and this is for NEWBIES, that have never used, nor seen RDI before...

With other software, you double click on the Setup.exe, and follow the wizard and you are done!

I am telling them to stick to SEU, if they cannot figure out to install from the instructions here:
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21667734

PS. I could have sworn there used to be a "One-Click-Install", but I am probably confused.

It seems that the link for the 9.5 download was broken but is working again.
I used this URL and it worked, by replacing the 9.1 with 9.5 in the 9.1 download link. In the end the link started working again and seems to be the same.

Hi,

They have mandated that every developer use RDI & ACS.

Is there a simple "one-click" web-install link for RDI 9.5, that a newbie could follow?

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21667734

Automated Procedure:
The automated procedure involves downloading and running IBM Installation Manager (in administrator mode) that is pre-configured for the Rational Developer for i trial on Windows.
Version 9.5:
Download RationalDeveloperForiV9.5TrialWebInstall-Windows.zip from Fix Central.
Unzip the file to a local folder with no spaces in the name.
Run installRDi.bat.

The "Fix Central" links seems broken...
https://www-947.ibm.com/support/entry/portal/fixcentral_redirect

I thought there used to be a very simple one-click web-install link? Does anyone know where that link Exists?

Besides, I could not find a "InstallRDI.BAT" file either.

Thanks.

PS. I am NOT ALLOWED to put the 3.5 Gig Zip-File on the network Drive.
