The test fix worked great for me. I now have a clean list of compile
commands and I can add, copy, change, and delete them as I please.

To make things really clean, I restored a copy of the node.properties file
which had no corruption, but which was missing several compile commands.
I've since added those and modified others without any problems.

You might try creating a new workspace and grabbing the node.properties
file for the compile commands from it and copying it to your normal
workspace, then add back anything customized that you need.

The node.properties file can be found in your workspace in
:{workspace}\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.rse.core\profiles\PRF.{profile}_{nn}\PS.compilecommand.ibmi-qsys_8454607

where

{workspace} is your main workspace folder

{profile} is your profile name.

and

{nn} is a number RDi assigns to your profile.

Re: [WDSCI-L] Compile commands duplicated?

I could only delete the duplicates of the compile commands that I
created.

I am running RDi 9.5.0.2, but according to the Installation Manager
the APAR is not one of the installed fixes.

I don't get it... I followed the readme.txt??

Hmmm, how exactly did you delete the duplicates? I think they would
have been coded so that they can't be removed with the GUI.

In Windows if you go to Start > Programs > IBM Installation Manager >
View
Installed Packages then you should see "APAR_SE6311" as one of the
fixes
for RDI 9.5.0.2

If will have not effect on versions of RDI earlier than 9.5.0.2

Mike,

Something is really wrong.

I had deleted the duplicate custom compile commands (so only the
standard commands were duplicated).

Then I created a new compile command, saved it, exited & restarted RDi.
Now I have duplicates of everything again, including the new command.

How can I tell if he patch installed correctly?

Greg
