The iSphere source search is a couple orders of magnitude faster, I think.

And if you have an object filter, you can right-click on the filter and be able to run this search over the filter - I have a library filter for all the libraries that have source, and the search goes very quickly and covers the whole waterfront!

Jeff,

Use iSphere Source File Search instead! One of the most powerful features of iSphere. Plus you can search for more than one string. Ever since I discovered iSphere, I do NOT the old Search...

And did I mention it is FREE? And you can export your scans to Excel! Great for analysis work! Especially in groups.

I had forgotten how clumsy the old "regular" search is...

We have it install on our systems, BETA/TEST, Quality-Assurance and PRODUCTION.

Just a recommendation. It is a great FREE Plug-in for RDI!

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Find String in RDI

When I do a Find String in RDI and it brings back alot of results expanded, is there a key stroke to collapse all the results? I want them all collapsed, so I can highlight them all again to do another Find String inside of those results. I tried Shift - and Ctrl - and nothing seems to work. I normally just go thru and manually collapse them all, but was wondering if I was missing an easier way?

Thanks,
Jeff
